On the occasion of the International Day of Support to Victims of Torture, Youth Initiative for Human Rights (YIHRMNE), member of Civic Alliance, will represent the Report "Rights of persons deprived of liberty in closed system in Montenegro and other closed institutions" on Friday, 1 July 2016. Presentation of the Report will take place at the Hotel "Premijer", in the hall "Cetinje" at 10:00.
The Report has been developed in the frame of the project "Building Free of Torture and Impunity Societies at Western Balkan" and contains findings of researches about the condition of convicted persons and persons accommodated in other closed institutions in Montenegro, which YIHR monitoring team conducted in the past two years.
Besides YIHR MNE (member of Civic Alliance), the project "Building Free of Torture and Impunity Societies in Western Balkans" implemented partner organizations Youth Initiative for Human Rights Serbia, Center for Rehabilitation from Trauma and Torture from Albania (ARCT) and International Council for Rehabilitation for the Victims of Torture from Denmark (IRCT). Goal of the project is to contribute to society without torture through activities of civil society directed against violation and other cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment or punishing.
Speakers at the presentation will be:

- Slavica Rabrenović, Ministry of Justice;
- Milan Radović, Youth Initiative for Human Rights MNE;
Moderator of the presentation will be Edina Hasanaga Čobaj, Executive Director of YIHRMNE.
